18.6. Upon departure from the port to sea, sailing yachts should provide the following data to the Port Control Office on VHF Channel 10 (call sign: Radio-32):
18.6.1. the name and the owner of the vessel;
18.6.2. the number of the vessel’s crew and passengers;
18.6.3. the purpose of the departure, and the port of destination;
18.6.4. the time of departure;
18.7. Upon arrival at the port, sailing yachts shall immediately advise the following data to the Port Control Office on VHF Channel 10 (call sign: Radio-32):
18.7.1. the name and owner of the vessel;
18.7.2. the number of the vessel’s crew and passengers;
18.7.3. the purpose of arrival, and the port of departure;
18.7.4. the report on accidents during the voyage;
18.7.5. the number of the berth, and the time of mooring.
25. The following documents shall be produced for registration of the vessel’s arrival:
25.1. the General Declaration;
25.2. a crew list.
37. In the whole port waters, the maximum speed of vessels shall not exceed 6 knots.
63. Upon arrival in to territorial waters of Lithuania and to the Klaipeda port, foreign-flag vessels should hoist the Lithuanian state flag on the right-side yard of the fore mast and keep it until departure from territorial waters of Lithuania (12 nautical miles from the shore).
67. Vessels that are not equipped with radar shall be permitted to navigate in the port waters at a visibility of less than 0.5 nautical mile.
68. At a wind speed of over 20 m/s, any navigation of vessels in the port waters, their mooring, unmooring and shifting operations without an individual permission by the Harbour Master shall be prohibited.
69. Sailing yachts, if their length does not exceed 45 meters, and the draught does not exceed 4.5 m, shall be permitted to navigate outside the navigation canal only; if required and obtaining permission from the VTS (Vessel Traffic Service), such vessels shall be permitted to sail along the navigation canal without interfering with vessels that are entitled to sail along this canal only; this maneuver shall be completed at a distance of not less than 500 meters to the oncoming vessel.
Sailing yachts shall be permitted to sail outside the navigation canal and cross the navigation canal perpendicularly without permission from the VTS, if the yachts complete this maneuver at a distance of not less than 500 m to the oncoming vessel.
All the above-mentioned vessels shall ensure continuous radio communication with the VTS in the VHF Channel 16 and 9 frequency range while sailing in the navigation channel.
72. Pleasure vessels and sport vessels shall be prohibited:
72.1. to sail in the eastern part of the port waters located between the bearings of the navigation canal and the berths of Klaipėda State Seaport Authority, with the exception of cases when permission from the VTS has been received;
72.2. to sail between the Kiaules Nugara Isle and berths Nos. 147-151 of the International Ferry Port;
72.3. to sail at a distance of less than 200 m from berths Nos. 147-151 of the International Ferry Port.
73. For the purpose of arrival/departure clearance, yachts shall moor at berth No. 42, whereto officers of the border control and the customs shall be called by telephone.
