Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania in Canada H.E. Ginte – Bernadeta Damusyte visited Klaipeda Seaport Authority on the 24th of August, 2009. (J. Janonio str.24). Director general of Port Authority dr. Eugenijus Gentvilas received the quest and presented Klaipeda Seaport activity, economical Port rates, Port development projects that were presently on execution and anticipated ones, reviewed Port possibilities and capacities, activity and peculiarity of Port operators and logistic issues. Issue that the quest showed the particular interest in, i.e. the interest of Klaipeda Seaport to develop relations with Canada Seaports (for example Halifax Port) was discussed either.
