 On 5 – 6 of August chief engineers of Chinese Company “China Communications Construction Company Ltd” visited Klaipėda Port. The aim of the visit was to discuss the issues concerning future construction of Passenger and cargo terminal at Klaipėda Port and other planned port infrastructure projects. On 5 – 6 August chief engineers Wang Xiaobo and Deng Xigui of Chinese Company “China Communications Construction Company Ltd” visited the Port Authority (24 J. Janonio Street). The guests were met by Director General of the Port Authority dr. Eugenijus Gentvilas, Director for marketing Artūras Drungilas, representatives of the Port Infrastructure Service, Public Procurement Service and Law Department who discussed issues of future construction of Passenger and cargo terminal at Klaipėda Port and other planned port infrastructure projects with the arrived guests. After the visit in the Port Authority the guests were taken on an introductory excursion around the port waters. During two-day visit the chief engineers of Chinese Company “China Communications Construction Company Ltd” were to attend the future Klaipėda Passenger and cargo terminal.
