 On the 19th of August, 2009 m. delegation headed by Mr. Peter Karlsson, a vice-president for logistics of international transportation company YASHEYA visited Klaipeda Port Authority. The goal of this visit was the discussion of possibilities of containerised bulk cargo transportation via Klaipeda Seaport. The group of quests that were accompanied by the heads of UAB „Arijus“ during their entire visit to Klaipeda were received by Arturas Drungilas the director for marketing of Port Authority (J. Janonio24). Arturas Drungilas presented Klaipeda Port activity and the possibilities for future cooperation were discussed during this visit. The company YASHEYA is looking for optimal containerised bulk cargo transportation from India to Scandinavia. During this meeting cargo transportation from the Ukraine to Klaipeda Seaport by shuttle train Viking with Klaipeda Port as a distribution centre was discussed. The company is planning to perform probationary transportations in the nearest future.
