The Director General Eugenijus Gentvilas and the Marketing Director Artūras Drungilas met the guests, who during their 3-day-visit were accompanied by the representatives of “Lithuanian Railways” PLC, at the Seaport Authority (J. Janonio str. 24) and introduced them to Klaipėda Port activities, reviewed economic indicators of the port performance, presented the ongoing and future projects of the port development, and discussed logistic issues highly relevant to the guests, i.e. a possibility of establishing China cargo distribution centres in Lithuania.

After the visit in the Seaport Authority, the members of the delegation were taken on an excursion around the port waters by ship, and after the excursion the delegation paid a planned visit to the port companies.
