Director General Eugenijus Gentvilas attended international conference “Role of logistics on the way Asia-Europe“
On 29 January 2010 Director General Eugenijus Gentvilas attended international conference “Role of logistics on the way Asia-Europe“ held in Almaty (Kazakhstan) and made a presentation „Possibilities of Klaipėda port as a reliable component of logistics chain“.
The conference organized by the group of companies of Lithuania and Kazakhstan “TL NIKA Group“ and publishers of international business magazine “Jūra Mope Sea“, was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Communications of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Lithuania, heads of transport companies, cargo owners and freight forwarders. This event was aimed at facilitating more active economic cooperation between Lithuania and Kazakhstan at the intergovernmental level, emphasizing the impact of cooperation between European and Asian countries on transit development.
At the conference, Director General Eugenijus Gentvilas made a presentation „Possibilities of Klaipėda port as a reliable component of logistics chain“.
