New – appointed ambassador of the USA to Lithuania H. E. Anne Elizabeth Derse visited Klaipeda Seaport
On the 22nd of October, 2009 the ambassador of the UnitedStates of America to Lithuania H. E. Anne Elizabeth Derse, appointed on 14th October, 2009, visited KlaipedaState Seaport Authority. The goal of this visit was to get information on KlaipedaPort activity and perspectives.
The quest was accompanied by the employees of the USA Embassy in Lithuania. Arturas Drungilas, the director for marketing of Port Authority received the ambassador at the premises of Port Authority and presented her Klaipeda Port activity, economical Port indices, currently performed and anticipated Port development projects, made a review on Port possibilities and capacities, activity and peculiarity of Stevedoring companies operating in the Port and logistics issues.
