 On 4 December 2009 an opening ceremony for construction project “Development of Klaipėda railway junction, I stage of works. Reconstruction of “Draugystės“ station railroad section“ was held in the administration building of “Draugystės“ railway station (Kairių str. 1). The Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania Eligijus Masiulis and Director General of the Port Authority Eugenijus Gentvilas took part in the aforementioned opening ceremony. The ordering party of construction project “Development of Klaipėda railway junction, I stage of works.
