Representative of Flemish Government in Lithuania visited Klaipėda port
On 23 July 2009 representative of Flemish Government in Lithuania Koen Haverbeke visited Klaipėda port. The aim of the visit - to acquaint with the Port of Klaipėda, specific features of the companies operating in the Port, economic situation and business environment.
The Director General Eugenijus Gentvilasmet the guests at the Seaport Authority (J. Janonio str. 24) and introduced them to Klaipėda Port activities, reviewed economic indicators of the port performance, presented the ongoing and future projects of the port development, potential and capacities of the port, and discussed the performance, specific features and logistic issues of the cargo handling companies operating in the port.
