 The 2-nd international seminar „EU Funding Day@Symbios“ was organized in Karlsruhe (Germany) in the 29-30 of October, 2009. One of the participants of the seminar was Birute Urmoniene, the Head of Project Implementation Group of Klaipeda State Seaport. EU Trans-European transport network TEN–T programme for 2007-2013 was under discussion in this seminar, alongside with projects, researches and studies executed in the framework of this programme. Klaipėda State Seaport Authority is successfully implementing the projects financed by the EU Trans-European transport network (TEN-T) programme: In 2008 the company participated in the Motorways of the Seas project “Master plan studies for development of Baltic Sea Information Motorways (BASIES)“; In 2009 the project “Junction of IX B corridor with Klaipėda State Seaport – reconstructing central Access“ is being implemented; In 2009 - 2010 the Seaport Authority together with the Port of Karlshamn (Sweden) are implementing the Motorways of the Seas project „Klaipėda – Karlshamn“.
