On 4 March 2010 Director for Marketing and Administration Artūras Drungilas participated and presented a report in the international conference Opportunities for cooperation between Finnish and Lithuanian carriers and freight forwarders, organized by SC Lithuanian Railways and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Finland, which was held in Helsinki (Finland).
The conference was attended by representatives of major Lithuanian and Finnish transport, logistics, cargo forwarding, trade companies and related associations and organizations.
The issues discussed during the aforementioned international conference included opportunities for cooperation between Lithuanian and Finnish companies, problems of state and private regulation and stimulation, experience in establishing logistic centres, logistic solutions in freight transportation, benefits for transport sector using cheap, more environmentally friendly, reliable and safe transport modes, as well as other relevant issues related to freight transportation.
