 In May 26-28 2009 European Commission inspectors visited Klaipėda port. The aim of the visit was to execute inspection of ships belonging to Klaipėda State Seaport, terminals and EU states. Following European Commission Regulations the inspection of port terminals are executed no less than every five years to see how the terminals fulfil the requirements of ISPS Code.
