Representatives of the port Authority took part in the meeting of European Maritime Safety Agency
30 of June, 2010 the second seminar – workshop organized by European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) regarding submission of information to the „SafeSeaNet“ system was held in Lisbon (Portugal).
This second seminar – workshop regarding implementation of the European Parliament and Council directive 2009/16/EB on implementation of the port state control requirements in member states from 01-01-2011, was organized by European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
The Head of Information technologies department Algimantas Žygus and Hazardous cargo inspector of the Port Dispatcher office Irena Veršilova took part in the above seminar wherein representatives of the member states reported on submission of vessel arrival information via the „SafeSeaNet“ system.
