Representatives of the Seaport Authority attended events in Vilnius
 
On 15 December, 2009 at 9:30 a seminar of Lithuanian Intermodal Transport Technological Platform (LITTP) was held in Vilnius attended by the specialist of statistics of the Marketing department Kęstutis Voveris.
 
                   The aforesaid platform founded in March, 2007 is a joint action of representatives of the main transport sectors – economic entities engaged in road transport, railways, water and intermodal transport logistics and cooperating with other similar EU institutions that strive for successful integration of Lithuanian transport and logistics economy into European Innovation and Economic area.
                   The executive vice chairman of the LITTP – director of Intermodal Transport and Logistics Competence Centre (ITLCC) at Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology dr. Algirdas Šakalys.

                   On 15 December 2009 at 11:00 a meeting regarding the draft law on amendment to the Law on Protection of Marine environment of the Republic of Lithuania was held in the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania (Vilnius) attended by the head of the Port Dispatcher office Aleksandras Kaupas and senior legal adviser of the Legal  department Erlandas Petrauskas.
 
                   The aforesaid meeting was initiated by the Ministry of Environment in order to discuss the received comments regarding draft law on amendment to the Law on Protection of Marine environment of the Republic of Lithuania with the officials drafting the above law.
