 In March 23-24 2009 in Leeuwardene (Holland) trade fair Bedrijven Contactdagen there took part the delegation of Klaipėda port and city. Klaipėda port was presented by the Director for Marketing of SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority Artūras Drungilas. The delegation of Klaipėda municipality, city council, port authority, Klaipėda University and Free Economic Zone headed by the Mayor of Klaipėda city Rimantas Taraškevičius participated in Leeuwarden trade fair Bedrijven Contactdagen in March 23-24 (which is being organized by Leeuwarden World Trade Centre). The aim of the trade fair – is to present different companies and their services, come into new relationships with other companies and get acquainted with the latest business development tendencies and present new potential business development regions. The fair where there usually participate more than 700 business companies and service institutions is usually visited by 30 000 visitors and it is recognized as one of the best business events in Holland The delegation of Klaipėda presented business and investment possibilities of Klaipėda as well as economic development perspectives. Director for Marketing Arturas Drungilas of SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority made a report about Klaipėda port, its development and potential.
