The representative of Port Authority took part in the annual conference organized by SMI on port security matters
In September 29 – October 2 2009 in Barcelona (Spain) there was organized the annual conference on port security matters organized by SMI and the Port Security Officer Alvydas Jocys took part there.
The goal of SMI organized a seminar International port security. Identify Risks and Mitigate Threats was to discuss the piracy threats for the global port security, main security issues connected with the ships arrival to the port and acquaint with the latest assessment technologies of port threats.
