In 2008 the company participated in the Motorways of the Seas project “Master plan studies for development of Baltic Sea Information Motorways (BASIES)“.
In 2009 - 2010 the Seaport Authority together with the Port of Karlshamn (Sweden) are implementing the Motorways of the Seas project „Klaipėda – Karlshamn“. More information
In 2010 the project “Junction of IX B corridor with Klaipėda State Seaport – reconstructing central Access“ is being implemented.
In 2010-2011 Klaipėda outer port feasibility study and environmental impact assessment will be prepared; the works are partially financed under the TEN-T programme.
