In 2008 the company participated in the Motorways of the Seas project “Master plan studies for development of Baltic Sea Information Motorways (BASIES)“.
In 2009 - 2012 the Seaport Authority together with the Port of Karlshamn (Sweden) are implementing the Motorways of the Seas project „Klaipėda – Karlshamn“. More information

In 2010-2012 Klaipėda outer port feasibility study and environmental impact assessment will be prepared; the works are partially financed under the TEN-T programme project No: 2009-LT-91600-3.
