In terms of cargo groups the handling volumes of all cargo groups increased in all cargo groups: 

 

Liquefied cargoes      +29,4 percent, totally 1 147,9 thousand tons of cargo were handled,

Dry and bulk cargoes     +19,6percent, totally 1 096,3 thousand tons of cargo were handled,

General cargoes              +16,3percent, totally 857,0 thousand tons of cargo were handled.

 

In terms of cargo types the handling volumes of containerised and Ro – Ro cargoes increased. Volumes of Ro – Ro cargo handling, calculating both in tons and units, successfully maintain their growth tendencies. 385,5 thousand tons were handled in November of 2010, and this number constitutes 17,3 percent of growth. Calculating in units 19 263 units, i.e., more by +17,2 percent were handled comparing with November of the last year.

In November of this year container handling volumes (calculating in TEU) were 26 534 TEU, that is more by 33,7 percent comparing with the corresponding period of 2009. The increase of containerised cargo, calculating in tons, made +19,2 percent, totally 291,3 thousand tons were handled.

In November of this year 17,0 thousand passengers visited Klaipėda,i. e., more by 21,0 percent than during the corresponding period of 2009.

802 ships, i.e., more by 17,9 percent comparing with the corresponding period of the previousyear, called Klaipėda Port in November of this year.

Būtingės Terminal transhipped 899,9 thousand tons, this is more by 12,4 percent comparing with November of 2009.
