The prime minister was interested in KLASCO cargo handling

On July 5th, Klaipeda port has been visited by delegation supervised by Andrius Kubilius, a Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania. During the visit an issue of national importance: implementation of strategic project in Klaipeda – Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal was discussed.

After the press conference at the port directorate, the guests visited Klaipeda Stevedoring Company KLASCO. They were being introduced to fertilizers terminal, production operations. General director of KLASCO Audrius Pauža presented the Prime Minister with the company‘s potential and prospects, later on accompanied him on a ship during the port excursion.. KLASCO cargo loading capacity this year has already reached the record levels of the past year. A slight increase in turnover is anticipated this year.
