Pursuant to preliminary  data as of the 2nd of  December the cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Seaport in November of 2015 dropped down by 14,4 pct. or by 476,2 thou. tn to 2,84 mln tn comparing with November of 2014.

Within the period of January – November of 2015 the cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Seaport reached 35,14 mln tn, i.e., more by 5,1 pct. or by 1,71 mln tn comparing with January – November of 2014. It constitutes on the average 3,19 mln tn within the period of one calendar month. Klaipeda Seaport is planning to handle 38,0 mln tn in 2015.

Year-on-year changes of the overall turnover  in November of 2015 according to cargo types:

  • Liquid cargo – 744,8  thou. tn were handled, -12,6 pct. or -107,7 thou. tn yoy;
  • General cargo – 917,3 thou. tn were handled, -7,8 pct. or -78,0 thou. tn yoy;
  • Dry and bulk cargo – 1 175,3 thou. tn were handled, -19,8 pct.  or -290,5 thou. tn yoy.
