Undersigned agreement on donation for financing of Šventoji Seaport reconstruction feasibility study

On 4 August, 2009 (on Tuesday), at 3:00 PM at SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority an agreement on donation in amount of 255.291,00 EUR for Šventoji Seaport reconstruction feasibility study with design proposals was undersigned.
 
On 4 August, 2009 (on Tuesday), at 3:00 PM at SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority an agreement on donation in amount of 255.291,00 EUR for Šventoji seaport reconstruction feasibility study with design proposals was undersigned by Director General of the Port Authority dr.  Eugenijus Gentvilas and Director for Regional Consultations of Alatec, Ingenieros, Consultores Y Arquitectos, S. A. (a Spanish company of engineers, consultants and architects) Enrique Uribarri. Economic and commercial attaché of the Embassy of Spain in Lithuania Mr. Sanchez Gomez Ramiro was present upon undersigning of the above contract with the rights of witness. 
 
Additional information:
 
SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority commenced reconstruction works of Šventoji Seaport  pursuant to the plan of implementing measures of the program for  Šventoji State Seaport reconstruction approved by  Order No.  3- 101, dated 7 April, 2008, of the Minister of Communications of the Republic of Lithuania.  Preparation of the feasibility study is one of integral parts of the plan.
 
The Seaport Authority prepared a technical task and preliminary estimates of the works for Šventoji seaport reconstruction feasibility study with design proposals that made a basis for approval of maximum eligible amount to be financed. The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain having analyzed the submitted material was to assign maximum amount of 300 000 EUR as a donation for the above mentioned study with design proposals.
 
In pursuance with requirements of the Embassy of Spain, the above works have to be carried out by a Spanish company. Offers were received from 5 Spanish companies whereof 3 companies were selected by the representatives of the Port Authority and a respective notice thereof was given by the Port Authority to the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, which approved a short list of companies prepared by the Port Authority. The 3 above mentioned companies sent their adjusted offers and the Port Authority selected one company - Alatec, Ingenieros, Consultores Y Arquitectos, S. A., which (having obtained a consent of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain) will conduct the above mentioned study with design proposals.
 
Official approval for granting a donation will be made by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain, only upon undersigning of agreement on contracting works for Šventoji Seaport reconstruction feasibility study with design proposals. The duration of works (as of the day of undersigning of agreement) – 6 months.
 
The Environmental Impact Assessment of Šventoji Seaport reconstruction will be started upon completion of a part of the feasibility study with design proposals. Preliminary estimated period to make Environmental Impact Assessment – is 18 months.

In 2010- 2011  preparation of a detailed plan
In 2011-2012  preparation of a technical project
